Dental Anxiety Control:  Many people have deep-seated dental anxiety issues.  Consequently some people do not visit a dentist until they have a dental emergency.  Dental pain and emotional and self-image issues result.  Our office's success in helping patients overcome dental anxiety issues has helped many patients turn their issue with dental anxiety into a non-issue.

  • Coaching in Dr. Mansky's Simple 5 Minute Dental Anxiety Cure.  It really works!
  • Nitrous Oxide Relative Analgesia (Laughing Gas):  Nitrous Oxide works to reduce anxiety and although you are awake, takes you away mentally from the experience while going through it.
  • Painless injections or, where possible, the use of generally painless air abrasion instead of a drill.
  • Our request that you let us know if you have issues with any part of your treatment or our office procedures.
  • A staff that is all interested in helping your dental visit be anxiety-free.
  • And if all else fails, there is medication that can be taken

Periodontics:

  • Implant placement to replace missing teeth and support removable dentures
  • Cosmetic gum lifts to improve eliminate a gummy smile
  • Routine gum health maintenance care.

Cosmetic Dentistry:  The art of providing a beautiful smile.  It includes:

  • Cosmetic reshaping
  • Restoration of broken, decayed and discolored teeth with tooth colored fillings, onlays, cosmetic crowns and bridges.
  • Porcelain laminates (veneers) for the correction of poorly positioned, discolored or misshapen teeth.
  • Teeth whitening (ZOOM one visit whitening or At Home whitening)
  • Gum lifts to eliminate a gummy smile

(Note: If you are fortunate to have dental insurance most insurances do not include ‘cosmetic treatment of unattractive smiles’ if that is the only purpose for the treatment. Insurance covered cosmetic services are tooth colored fillings, onlays, cosmetic crowns for broken teeth,  bridges (to replace missing teeth), and in some cases, porcelain veneers),)

Endodontics (Root Canal):  Root canal treatment repairs and saves teeth that are badly decayed or broken and becomes infected. In a root canal procedure the nerve and pulp are removed from the inside of the tooth (the root canal) and the root canal is then filled.  Without treatment, the tissue surrounding the tooth generally becomes infected and painful.

Teeth Replacements:  The branch of dentistry dealing with the replacement of teeth with artificial devices that look and feel like your own teeth.  These devices include:

  • Full dentures
  • Partial dentures crowns
  • Fixed bridges
  • Implant retained crowns
  • Implant retained removable dentures

Preventing Tension Headache, Migraines, TMJ Face pain and Teeth Grinding:  Prolonged and intense teeth clenching is a very frequently causes head-pain problems.  Although this occurs mostly at night some people also are day clenchers.  Night and daytime clenching when a person is under stress.  This can dramatically increase the head-pain a person feels.

Our office is using the only FDA approved dental devise to prevent clenching related head-pain. This devise is small and comfortable and generally worn at night when we have no conscious control over clenching.  The NTI dramatically reduces the clenching that is responsible for most head-pain.  For more information visit www.headachehelper.com.
